I've been recently getting into drawing portraits digitally and this is my first ever attempt at drawing it digitally and trying to shade it I mean it's not the best but I think it's a good start :D

Yes good start for sure, I guess can't really judge this unless I'l totally sure what you are going for. If you are going for a caricature style then this is a really good start I would try to clean the lines up a bit and the colouring too. If you are hoping to move towards doing realistic portraits It has a lot farther to go but is still a good start. If realistic is your thing then do a lot of face drawing and stick to it if its more stylized you are doing this is a good start :)
