My name is Tjaša, I am 19 years old and I go to highschool.I live in a small country in the middle of Europe, called Slovenia. I have always been a huge basketball fan. In my spare time I also play games, mostly RTS, watch a good film or series such as Grey's anatomy or Castle. But my main passion in life has always been art. I started drawing at a very early age but it really became a serious hobby when I was 12 years old. I started with quite an unusual art style for my age at the time, abstract art. I always loved mixing colours and at the time I more or less relied on my sixth sense when putting colours on the canvas. I never had any official art education, instead the art teacher at my elementary school always supported and motivated me, she also helped me improve my skills. While still in elementary school, the school authorities helped me set up my first art exhibition. It was a great success and I hope I can repeat it in the near future. Two years ago, when I was 15, a friend inspired me to draw my very first portrait. When I finished it, I was very surprised because it actually wasn't all that bad. Ever since, I only got more enthusiastic about the style. Now I am trying to improve my skills even more by using different styles, such as oil paintings, sculpturing, coloured portraits, caricatures, hyperrealistic paintings and drawings.
