I'm a 18-year-old boy who likes drawing a lot. I draw since I was a child... at primary school I used to draw cars a lot but they were just plain 2D designs. I always dreamed about drawing cars in 3D and when I was at secondary school (at the age of 16) I did my first 3D car drawing and I kept doing them for a year. At the same time I discovered the anime world and I wanted to tried drawing anime characters too. The problem was that I was very bad drawing people and animals, it was like my weak point. But after practicing I found ways to draw them, although I did not draw many. All my drawing since then were in A3-sized-paper. Some people told me to try drawing in A4-sized-paper but I was a bit worried because of the lack of references the paper gave me. Anyway I tried and at first I wasn't sure about what I was doing but with practice I found ways to do it and here I am today. My anime drawings increased substantially with this also. I stopped drawing cars although they are my favourite objects and my future career has to do with them and now I draw anime. To clarify, I'm actually better at painting than at drawing but I enjoy both. Poeple through my life asked me if I had ever gone to drawing/painting lessons but the answer was always "No". I always thought that my ability to draw/paint was natural.
