Fifies sailing in the outer Forth Estuary

Description:

My painting of these simple, sturdy but fast sailing vessels that were once the mainstay of the fishing industry in Scotland and nearby. They existed in large numbers before some were converted to steam power. At least one is still sailing thanks to preservation work.
