Eagle Dancer Sketch in progress

I took my original digital sketch and just changed it from black and white to a warmer tone in Pixelmator. This is closer to what I get when I paint a camaïeu in oil directly on canvas. I can either leave it like that or layer colors over it. This is a classical old master's technique originating in the baroque period with Caravaggio. Also from Rembrandt to the modern era with Fantin Latour, and most great masters in between. This was not done the matte painting way, so every dab and spot you see here was done by hand. A work of diligent care and patience.
