Been gone for a while, but I've been getting back into painting and I wanted to do some posting. :) This is a friend of mine, Elise. Still trying to work out the kinks in the scanner... maybe I should just use darker colors in the background next time? Pencil + fancy pens + watercolors~

When I move my eyes between the to faces it is almost like a GIF. I like the subtle coloration. Light blue background sets off the pink in the face and orange in the hair. I like like !

Amazing concept , love the use of colors and her expression. Should work on keeping a similar facial structure though in the nose area.
