Oh! Well, for one, I use Photoshop Elements 9. I always start out with a rough sketch before I begin the actual painting and leave the sketch on top while doing so until the painting starts looking like a representable face. I doubt that covers my "technique", but you can ask me anything :)

cool style. Not knowing what type of effect you were trying for, it seems the angle of the nose is not quite right but it really works well with this style. I like the orange outline.

Yeah, I have troubles with trying to color in noses to make them fit in with the painting. But thank you and I'm glad you like it

Oh, no, not really. This was just some practice especially with trying something different other than just adding a mouth and teeth :)
