I have never done any oil work because I am allergic to it. Neverless, I love this art piece. It has a nice warm contrast with colors not being to dull or to bright , but just right. : )

The simplicity is very nice, just on the verge of expressionism almost. The eyes are very penetrating, but the nose could use more shading . Overall I like it
