This is definitely a riskier and more difficult study you have done here, the shortening effect plays tricks on our brain because we tend to substitute the strict measurements of proportions we see for the "idea" of proportions in 3D space. This incites us to compensate for what the eyes don't actually see but our mind knows is there. The best way to resolve this and train our brain to not compensate is with a grid. The same proportional grid looking at the model as on the surface you draw on. This should only be used for corrections not a crutch, otherwise this lesson cannot be integrated by our brain. This great master's technique is invaluable to help us "see" instead of "thinking" what we see. I used that technique until my brain understood, now I can see without a grid. You are brave and I encourage you to challenge yourself the smart way!

Its very good. I like the struckture and the shape of the lines mixed with the shades. I think charcoal is for you and the perspective came out vere realistic. Chillin Like a Villain (on the stairs..) :P
