My dog and Road to Forest

well, this one..... it's done already but...... I don't know. I just feel something's not right....... especailly about the floor and road.... I also think the tree can also be better....... Any mind. If any of you can suggest me what can I do to improve this picture please tell me!! I really want it to look more mysterious and...... don't know........ I want to show my dog's expression more without showing them in the face. [Sorry if I talk non-sense...] Them: A dog travelling in an unknown place... the fallen tree trunk looks out of place ...it possibly could have had some type of native animal in it as well..maybe light beaming down could have had a stronger impact.. other then that its nicely down the trees feel lively ....remember always listen to your gut and not other people ^^
