Dangerous Selfie

This was a project I did from my Drawing II class semesters ago. We were to draw our screaming self-portraits in black and white while including a redrawn drawing or painting from a famous artist. We had the choice to include ourselves in the work or not. So, I chose the piece "Great Wave off Kanagawa" by the great Japanese artist, Hokusai. I used black, white, and vine charcoals for my self-portrait. I used Prismacolor pencils, Crayola color pencils, and white-out for the famous piece. It was a major pain to do, but the result was totally worth it (as was the final grade). Haha! I believe the paper size is 18"x24".
