I made this drawing for a contest , It's the original tail for the Little Mermaid. In the bubbles you can find not only scenes from the story but also some of the protagonist's thoughts and regrets. (For example in the biggest bubble I represented how her life would have been if she hadn't made the choice of following her love) The bubbles recall the fact that she dies turning in foam, and her crying face in the sky means that after her death she becomes a creature of the air.
