Excuse me if I come off as a little ignorant... judging from the piece's title it sounds like there's a lot of cultural meaning and themes packed in here that kinda goes over my head. That said though, I think it's a very creative design, and very well put together. I can't seem to tell if it's actually four discs laid overtop of each other or if that's just the effect given off by your coloring- either way, it's a pretty and irregular design that looks quite unique. The whole piece seems to radiate with a sense of depth of sorts, the small touches of shading here and there making certain parts seem to pop out, particularly the scroll in the center.
