Somewhat disappointing fault in our stars drawing
Description:
I am officially calling it, time of best as it is going to get, 2:54 PM. Seriously considered just scrapping it several times, but Some parts of it are actually decent and I had already put far too much time into it to just give up. This drawing started out great, but I very quickly realized that the paper I chose to use was very unforgiving and obviously not meant for drawing. Any attempt to correct my mistakes only made them worse and erasing anything completely was impossible. Anyway, here is my drawing of The Fault in our Stars poster. Still need to see the movie, but I loved the book. It took me about 6 hours over the course of about a month and a half, using 4H-8B graphite pencils on really awful A3 apparently not drawing paper. Comments and critiques will be accepted and appreciated, but keep in mind that I do realize there are a lot of mistakes.

I really love this but you gotta work on your blending. Tip: Get a electric eraser or a very tiny one and a paper-blender (I got mine in a set for like 2 bucks) and you will see improvement!)

Great drawing and shading. The proportion and representation are very good. I especially like how you captured the texture of the leather jacket at the top of the picture. Excellent work on rendering the hair and capturing regions of locks with highlights and shadows. The girl's jacket didn't seem as successful as the pencil strokes detract from the work.
