I drew this as an illustration for a fantasy short story I recently finished titled "The Sun Queen's New Hairstyle". This story, actually a rewrite and expansion of an earlier project, would be best described as a twist on the old "Emperor's New Clothes" fairy tale, with a climax involving a giant river shark thrown into the mix.
