At the very first sight, the amount of detail in this work is a little overwhelming. But nonetheless, the intricate detail in the ornaments makes the eyes linger and trying to figure out their shape and entanglement. I love how this reminds me of Celtic or Viking ornaments and medieval churches's glass paintings at the same time. All in all, a beautiful piece of work with amazing detail and a very conscious use of colours.

Description:
It one of my greatst master pieces that I did with traditional painting technique with acrylic colors. This was one of four painting I did for my mother and one of my greatest challenges that I am working one every day.
Critiques
Wow, it really looks like watercolor. The way you use the line, how it tangle, it amazzing. The lines mixed with that beautiful colours looks like stained glass, very aproppiated with the medieval theme.
I really like this. The colors look especially good and kind of metallic. That and the Celtic-looking patterns supplement each other perfectly. They resemble old Viking ornaments. Still some of them look like cruch glass paintings, which bring a whole new dimension to the picture. Also the little flower patterns add their own look to the constept. They look so fragile yet beautiful, and that balances the heavy-looking ornaments. And, last but not least, the painting of the pigeons adds an intersting, kind of Christian feeling. Overall, I guess that wasn't much of a critique, but it's hard to be critic when the artwork looks so great and well planned! Beautiful, original yet kind of historic. Very, very good job. You should be proud of yourself. Keep painting and making more art!
