I was trying to make the patterns on her face like a raised tattoo, ingrained inside of her, but growing off of her. The bat on her head is her pet. ｡◕‿◕｡

I really like this one! You've done a wonderful job on the hair shading/reflections and the clothing folds. The bat is adorable and the tattoo patterns are really interesting! Maybe they'd look a little more raised with some shading on the bottom edges of the leaves and stems? The big shiny eye makes her look waifish and like a fairy to me (:
