Before birds could fly, strange constructions were made. So that they could get off the ground at all, much testing had to be done. It just didn't work. Until Mrs. Wright came up with her flying construction. By flapping her plucked tail feathers that were attached to the machine a few times, she got off the ground and flew a few meters through the air.
