this idea came tome from the traditional bulgarian folk ebroidery. Int past enbroidery was used for protection from evil and curses, some still believe in this protection.. The ornament that looks like an angel stands for guardian of light, the two small ones next to it for family and the last one stands for life or circle of life. All of them together become: Guardian of light, family and life. It took me a whole month to paint. I essentially transfer the protection from the clothes to the house.
