Woodland Dweller: year 802,701
Description:
This is an imagined descendent of a Woodland Dweller from Dougal Dixon's "Man After Man". I picked the year 802,701 from H.G. Wells' "The Time Machine" because it seemed like a reasonable amount of time for this species to undergo significant evolutionary changes. Aside from more advanced tool use, their jaws became shorter and can more comfortable walk upright (their ancestors were quadrapedal). Expect more of these to come.
