Amaryllis

Description:

"Amaryllis" is a flower, but also a female Greek name that means "sparkling." This artwork is about a girl who finally finds her passion and gains a new purpose in life. It was nice to draw again since I haven't touched my pen for months. Then, a post from school got my attention. They were asking for literature works, artworks, and photographs to publish with the theme "self-discovery," "eureka," or "happiness." The theme quickly reminded me of my younger self, the time when I was full of dreams of becoming an artist. Such were the times. For years, I've longed for the artistic path and living all my life through expressing myself. I just hope my childhood dreams would come true.
