Starry Eyed Owl

Description:

This is a teacher example for a lesson I will be teaching seventh graders. For this project they will find a picture of an animal they like and create a close up of the animal. They will use chalk pastel to color and create their animal. I chose to draw a blind starry eyed owl named Zeus. Fun fact: blind animals have eyes that look like the night sky. It's super pretty. I had so much fun making this and I am SUPER stoked with how well it turned out. I was really worried and anxious about how the feathers would turn out, but it looks fantastic (in my opinion lol).
