Description:

This is an alien species that I envision living on the potential habitable world Gliese 667cc, a super earth that orbits a red dwarf in a triple star system and an estimated surface gravity of 1.6-2.2 e.g. (earth gravity). Standing roughly 4m tall, the Jangaal support their bodies with hydrogen bladders and six powerful limbs. The hind limbs are actually two pairs that have fused together to add strength. An eighth pair is held above the body and is used for manipulating the environment and killing prey in a manner akin to mantis shrimp. Their eyes see in infrared and their split jaws produce a highly potent venom to quickly disable prey.
