Very well executed portrait of a scary character. Portraits are the most difficult genre, when mastered the other genres are practically in the pocket so to speak. This is why I made it a point to work on this challenge for as long as it took to conclude the apprenticeship is never over. This is why I keep making studies of old masters works.

Thankyou, I know what you are saying about portraits, for the last year or so every second drawing has been an attempt at a portrait( which are for my eyes only) for practice,it is difficult and can be very frustrating, but i stick with it.
