Pride

Book of Jame Chapter 4: verse 6 But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, “God is opposed to the proud and haughty, but [continually] gives [the gift of] grace to the humble [who turn away from self-righteousness].” Book of John Chapter 3: Verses 18 18 Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because [b]he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him]. Pride is the delirious sin. Because out of pride we refuse to receive God remedy for our terminal disease( our sin), which the remedy is A sinless man laying down His life as a payment , to settle a debt a sinner owes to a Holy Go. Through humble faith placed in the righteous purchaser, the lost are freed from judgement and now rejoined in fellowship with God ,for eternity. With out coming to God through this plan of salvation ,their is only eternal separation from a Holy God, and eternal judgement to face. Pride is the rejection of this Truth.
