THE SACRIFICE - Before Ann Darrow (The Golden Woman) hit the island, the natives were sacrificing their own to King Kong so, instead of mixing Fay Wray into this, I drew up a woman of color at the alter (Dig the 'fro). (I also had a lot of different test shot images from '33 to draw from as far as the big monkey was concerned, and I picked one of his cute, goofy expressions, mainly 'cause that would be MY expression if someone delivered a young black lady to me one evening. ("Escort" services don't count :) ) This is all Mars Black acrylic and charcoal pencils with a digital adjustment in the contrast so that it looks just like KING KONG on my television set.....Albeit the nudity.
