THE LAST OF THE OSO-SI-PAPU - Based on an idea by Willis O'Brien and recreated by me in acrylics on stretched canvas for a client who requested that I not paint the Gorgo ears that Obie had originally designed (he thought they were kinda silly) and to make the head less bear-like and more like a lizard. He's paying for it so I obliged. It was like making the movie and working for a producer that wanted some changes. I emailed him a shot of the painting and he said it was better ...MUCH better... than he expected. So he'll come by later today with the check and that's that.
