With Edgar Allan Poe, Lovecraft was the other side of the coin of the 19th ideological positivist materialism, had a deep feeling for the forgotten mythical dark side, which Marshal McLuhan and Phillip K. Dick revealed and denounced. We are now facing it even though most don't want to or are trying to escape it.
