Oh, bite your tongue! Most reproductions probably aren't very good, but that is NOT the case here! The time and the effort should not be cast aside! I said bravo, and I MEAN bravo! BRAVO! Deal with it! lol

I should go to watch at the original to undestand the lights used by Caravaggio since photo reproductions are not so good.

Beautiful execution of this classical baroque great master's artwork. Because they kept opened the eternal path, reproducing the old masters works always is and will be the greatest art lessons. Second step, you would need to forget about them and let your experience find it's natural way back to do your own masterpieces. Then keep making studies back and forth to challenge yourself as you go along, for this is high class art practice.

I make an Agreement with myself; if I was able to make a belivable copy of this painting I could have stop painting. Should I stop painting?
