Contest: The Fight
Description:
This is for a contest on deviantart! For this contest, I decided to draw my OCs Hero, Sora, and Kirai fighting one another. They are on a desolate planet that was half destroyed in a previous battle between Hero and Kirai. Hence why this planet is so . . . dead and dark. This is a fight scene that is in my story "Power Legacy" in chapter 37. I do love how you angled it from a semi bird's eye view and the character's composition is pretty evenly drawn/design without the colors being too harsh on the eyes. The dark back drop really makes the characters themselves stand out, but if you were trying for a desolate and dead landscape, maybe you could add in some debris or objects to make it more active? It could add in more weight to a scene described as a big fight between them.

thanks! i wanted to draw in a perspective i've never done before and it was a fun challenge ^.^ and thanks for the feedback on the backgrounds, i've been slowly forcing myself to draw them and im trying to get better with em, so thanks for the help ^.^

The red rope is the connective device between foreground and background. My eyes see the colorful figure in the lower left then follow the arm down the rope to the smaller action on the middle ground. I like it !
