Pretty interesting study, it shows that you do have a good grasp of basic lighting and on different materials. However, as a result of the image lacking in more than 2 predominant base colours besides black and white and ambient reflections missing from the rendering process, as well as the lighting being completely colourless, this truck looks more like CG than natural. If you're going for pure value study, i'd advice keeping it grayscale, if you want to add colour, do note how colours interact with each other through ambient reflections. In any case, this shows promise, do keep up the good work, you can go pretty far going into sci-fi megastructure illustrations, like mechs, fighters, starships etc.
