With colored pencils, I would recommend keeping your strokes closer together for a more solid color. With water, leave some white places for highlights or sea foam, and only use dark blues or purples for shadow. That'll make your water look less dark and murky.

cool colours and I like the fact that the lines are straight, not messy. A tip for the future though: try working with shadows more :)
