Description:
Destiny: I was anew when my Ghost resurrected me. Young and full of innocence. "Become a hero, join them and push back the darkness or we wont survive". But a hero is not handed a gun and told to kill something because its right. So why do I stand before you, why did I kill you in front of your people. Because I am soldier given and order I could not resist. I am now old, scarred and corrupted. Blinded by my light....

Is that a continuity of Heart of the Black Garden? The scenery would suggest this. I wish soldiers would develop a real human consciousness like the character in your story, even a late one but I won't hold my breath. Six thousand yrs old sumerian tablets divulge that humans (or a category) were genetically engineered to be a slave race, and that's no science fiction.; it's obfuscated real ugly history. Check out Zecharia Sitchin's books, you'd have a lot of material there to ponder. I really like your sense of scenery.

Yes it is, there is much lore behind the Black Garden that exposes the crime of guardians. I do find this most interesting, and I will look into these books. They may help me get more shots and some history. Danke greatly Khobe.
