Yes it's Charles Bargues, I have had his book for a long time, it's very interesting the precision of his method though this is not the way I sketch. It's good to practice it for developing the eye but I'm a lot looser and do circles when I start, then I tighten and become very accurite as I go along. My approach is less tensed.

And i admire the way you show me to sketch since corcles, its domething i still dont habe naturally, hopefully with a little more practice i will, tha ks a lot for the feedback

Bravo for letting go of rigid control and risking looseness, in fact what you need to find is the harmonious balance between the two. That is why you need to darken slowly and erase to find it in an elegant and natural way. Trust the process and trust you will feel it, it will be obvious in your aesthetic sense when you do, Just take your time to find it, it's practically magical. The more you will practice this, the more it will grow in your awareness.
