Woodland Dweller

This is part of a series of drawings inspired by my Anthropology classes and Dougal Dixon's book "Man After Man". I've always been a fan of speculative biology/evolution and I loved Dougal Dixon's book but some of the ideas were either a little fanciful or outdated so I decided to do a personal project that takes five of the main ideas and apply more scientific realism to them and their possible descendants. It also give me the opportunity to draw hominid skulls which I have a fascination for.
