What do you find hard in working with pastels, can I help in anyway? I see you're working with pastel crayons, I usually use them lightly for my first sketch, then I use good quality brand pastel chalks in layers easy to spread and blend, either with fingers and/or stumps. I also prefer working on special coloured pastel gritty paper because it has a good tooth, giving a wonderful texture. The only thing I don't like about pastels is I must frame the paintings under glass for preservation.
