Ephemeral

So this was done for one of my weekly drawings in one of my art classes at University. The word of the week was 'ephemeral' which we had to draw. Ephemeral meaning something that lasts a short period of time. Being me and all terrified of growing old and dying and stuff, I went with the human life cycle and depicted the futile battle against growing old and dying. Also the actual clock face is vainy and reddish in tone as to represent an embryo or womb like environment. It could be seen as a piece of impending doom or perhaps something a little different for a different viewer?
