This is beautifully done and I like the discreet colour scheme as the very precise black features of the wasp brings it forward against the delicately crosshatched cooler and clear background in no uncertain way.

I like this, very characteristic of a wasp at rest, or about to buzz off. The shading and colour give this some real depth. I painted a wasp on an acorn (acrylic) some time ago I'll have to find the jpg and post it. Being honest it isn't as good as this.

I dont like wasps but it's really nicely done :) Maybe some small contrast shadows on it would be good but overall i dont know
