This is good you are tackling the male figure first, when comfortable with that, go tackle the female figure, when comfortable with that then children. Take the time you need to really digest psychologically the proportions of each before going to the next. The best way to master the human figure is doing it by steps. You're already out on a very good start I assure you. Art is not an event or a performance, though it might appear as such to the untrained eye_ it is a process!
