She's stunning. The story of Apollo and Daphne is sad, as he chases her so much she turns herself into a tree. Great capture of her fear.

This painting reminds me at first glance of Tamara de Lempicka though not really art deco, more rounded than her geometric style. At second glance it reminds me of classical plaster statues camaïeu exercises required in learning the academic craft, but not quite either with the red of her mouth so prominent, showing it's not quite the artistic intent here. Last it reminds me of Federico Fellini unforgettable deeply symbolic and beautiful movies. A vey well executed artistic and surprisingly successful mix. Bravo!
