Something I have noticed with your works is that you outline with a harsh dark line. With this piece however, you are gentler with the outline and use the shading to make the form instead. I think it would be cool if you took this approach more often. It makes your piece look very realistic since you already know how to accurately draw the proportions :)

Thanks..you'll find that my horses' sketches are the most accurate drawings because I have deep passion for them :)

My first thought was so sad to see such a noble race horse placed in a fixed position in a collar to me which denoted a dray or wagon....Then I thought you mean race horse as a trotter or pacer..Thought I would share that... Anyways its a very nice drawing and love your detail, very precise and you hold the horses head high with pride
