I like the idea of it but I'd maybe practised more the shading.

I like your creative idea! The shading is effective and the snow leopard-owl looks like he is flying towards me. A way you can improve this is by making the wings bigger, more like wide eagle wings-the wings you have drawn here don't look big enough to let the leopard-owl fly.
