Description:

Yhitsyba was a part of the Nashgas once upon a time. The queen had found him in a cave, beaten and starved, as a child. She had taken him in and cared for him, giving him food, education and a home. He was later on named Yhitsyba, meaning "Strong" or "Strength". Soon enough the princess was born, and Yhitsyba was assigned to be her tutor and mentor. The princess and Yhitsyba became very close friends and hang out a lot. Yhitsyba was about 18 when the princess's 12th birthday was around the corner and her parents were begining to get hectic, trying to find a mate for their daughter. Yhitsyba saw this and volunteered to help by travelling to other Nashga kingdoms to find a prince for the princess. However, when he had found a rather perfect mate for her and had brought him along with him to the king and queen to be introduced, he noticed an odd behavior every time the princess was around. Yhitsyba had once walked in to the princess's sleeping chamber, while the prince had her pinned to the bed with tears streaming down her cheeks. Yhitsyba got enraged and had straight up mutilated him right at that second, without a second thought, pouncing on him and clawed right through him. He was then arrested for homicide and thrown into jail. He would had been exiled, but with the request of the princess, he was just imprisoned. Yhitsyba had sworn vengeance on the royal family for locking him up even all he had done was protect the princess. He hated how the princess had just left him after saving her. I mean, she didn't even visit him! When he was finally released after 10 years, he had then gone on a homicidal spree after hearing that the princess had left. The king had no other option, but exile him to another realm between light and darkness. A place without day or night and no absolute way of getting out. After years and years of being imprisoned to the crude realm, that had been come to now as his domain, a passage had been opened. A strong magic had released Yhitsyba from his prison and given him freedom. With adrenaline and new gained strength coursing throughout his entire being, he was exited to once again terrorize the people who had banished him, but the land he had once known, wasn't the place he was greeted with when he had crawled out of the cave he had appeared in. Instead, there was a new entire world ahead of the snake being. The man, or rather creature, who had released him had introduced him to an offer. Yhitsyba was to follow his orders, for he was now in forever debt to him, or he would be taken back to the realm he had come to know as his home. Not wanting to go back, but not really exited to be in forever labor, he still accepted the offer. Fortunately for Yhitsyba, his first and entire job was to guard the cave he had appeared in. Apparently, the cave was some kind of portal or gate to another realm or world, he didn't know and his new "boss" hadn't really explained everything to him, but had said that everything would be explained to him when he had gained his trust and had proved his own worth to the tall being. And so, the tale of the Cave Guardian had taken place. --------------------------------------------------------------- OK, so. I had made myself a challenge of some sort. (ok, I just kinda made it up as I went....) The challenge is to draw a character, by using an already drawn base of someone else, and make it as different as you can without chancing the pose too much, and make it look as original as possible. Take note that the character has be drawn from SCRATCH, so you can't just change the skin color and the lineart or the BASE itsself. The idea is to make it as similar, but different as possible. For example; Look at my drawing. Now look at the original base I used, made by Shadow-Bases (http://shadow-bases.deviantart.com/) ------->http://shadow-bases.deviantart.com/art/Base-Edit-Male-Naga-Stance-459658273 <------- What I did was, make a new layer for the base, put the opacity low enough, make a new layer and draw over the base like I normally draw. (Sketch a "skeleton" of it and go from there) ------------------------------------------------------------- NOTES Nashga is pronounced Na-sh-ga Yhitsyba is pronounced Ye-chi-ba To understand the story better, and if you liked it, you should read this!!! ----> http://wolfyheartyt.deviantart.com/art/Chashta-et-Motmot-561216324
