Description:

Something I did for a shortmovie project for college. The focus was to film the ink blurr with the water so in the end I didn´t concentrated on shading. The idea was to interpret a poem of the german author Rainer Maria Rilke in a really short movie.

You have really captured the form and attitude with a minimum and at the same time made it totally convincing. That is amazingly skilled. In this kind of painting either it works, or it doesn't, because you don't get a second chance and can't make corrections. I'm the kind of artist that uses the eraser as much as the pencil and can only create by continuously adjusting until I get it close to what I was aiming for.

The great poet Rainer Maria Rilke (a favorite of mine) would love your fluid and suggestive interpretation in watercolor I'm sure, so do I. I appreciate your description of this project and your artistic philosophy. Simple doesn't mean easy, and repetition is of essence.

Nice technique and a simple yet beautiful picture. Captures the movement well I think.

Very nice work! It's a minmum of colors and shape but you can cleary see the panther. Being so simple makes it so beautiful for me.
