Description:

Sage was born into slavery, the oldest of three siblings. As a Fire Nymph he had the power to transmute heat through his body and is impervious to fire, these skills were highly desired by the Black overlords that had enslaved his family. With these powers he and his family were the ultimate blacksmiths with the ability to create armor and weapons with their bare hands. But these powers only develop once they reach maturity. With the death of his father, his vampiric overlords became desperate to train their new blacksmith in his father's great art. Everyday they would test Sage to see if his powers had bloomed, poking him with white hot metal and throwing him into fires until finally his skin didn't blister and burn, then they knew he was ready. Sage quickly proved his worth, having natural intuition when it came to forging. He worked hard, the dream of freedom constantly dangled in front him, his masters promising him that with hard work Sage could pay for his family's freedom. This day never came. When the war the Blacks had been fighting finally ended, they had little use for a full time blacksmith, but had no intention of simply letting Sage and his family go. But they had use for money, the war having depleted their funds, that was when Emul Xite stepped in, having seen Sage's handiwork in action and was highly impressed. Emul had big dreams for Sage and offered him a deal, Emul would free Sage and his family, if Sage worked with him for some time and helped him in creating the perfect weapon.
