St. Martha of Bethany

This one is now part of a Church side altar over in the town of Pateros in Pasig, Philippines. The image is based on the local legend of her driving out a crocodile from the river waters which was home to the ducks the people of Pateros relied heavily on for their livelihood, sort of similar to her legend in France where she subdued a dragon or "tarasque" a dragon turtle like creature of legend. If I remember right the painting is about 4x6 ft oil on canvas.
