I attended Summer of Art at Otis this summer, this was one of the still lives I made. Oil pastels on canson paper.

Very nicely done, the lighting seems rendered consistantly and most of the objects are clearly represented. my only critisism would be to add some more darker shading to the object on the table and the bottom of the painting looks incomplete as well as the bottom right corner. Otherwise beautiful.

The light reflections really brings life to the piece. The green apple looks really tasty

It's has very cool texture and sort of glow. The objects would look better if they were drawn bigger, but I'm sure it looks differed in real life. :)

That apple really tuned out well! I also like the shaping and colouring of the fabric where it drapes over the edge of the table. The items are a bit spread out. I would suggest bringing the fruit (and veggies) closer together and having them overlap to improve the composition.
