An amazing actor. I've watched quite a few movies starring him, but his portrayal of Władysław Szpilman in "The Pianist" was exceptional. I've read Mr Szpilman's autobiography for school and it literally made me cry. The movie was so touching - even more than "Schindler's List", because it focusses on just this one example of a Jewish man's fight to survive during WWII in occupied Poland. I really recommend it for everyone who is interested in the personal fates and stories in history. Drawn with graphite and felt pen in January 2014.
