These look really good! I agree, having the lines a little darker would help out with tracing for the final draft. I actually really like the way you drew Mallory's hair, it looks really good on her ^u^

I believe this could become a really good and interesting character. One way of doing so is by possible working on her body structure, adding more colour and shadows and maybe some other minor details (for example fancy buttons? seams, stitches, maybe some more facial structure cheek bones and ect.
