I like how you have captured the design and colour of the iris. I also like how you focus attention on the iris by using colour while the rest has the colour intensity almost at grey tones. the "out of focus" effect of the skin around the edges also helps push the focus to the middle. I also like how you have shown the texture and varied spots on the skin.
